McCLOSKEY PROFESSIONAL CORPORATION
Ronald McCloskey was born and raised in Ottawa, obtaining his undergraduate degree (Bachelor of Arts) from St. Patrick’s College (1971) and his LL.B from the University of Ottawa (1974), being called to the bar in 1976.
He immediately went into association with his brother Kenneth McCloskey (now retired) and with the late Albert Bourassa, Q.C. Ronald was formerly a member of the Bar of Alberta and practiced in both Vegreville and Lethbridge, Alberta in the early 1980’s.
In his spare time, he does freelance writing. He was the founding editor of Gilbert! The Magazine of G.K. Chesterton (https://www.chesterton.org/item-category/gilbert-magazine/) and has been published in various Chestertonian and other journals. His writing, alas, stands as a living monument to Chesterton’s aphorism that “if a thing is worth doing, it is worth doing badly.”
